Who Are These People?

When writing a series, and I have two going on right now, there can be moments when it tests your sanity. Like when a character appears and you cannot remember who he or she is. How do you keep all of these people seperate?

I am a fan of doing things the traditional way. I have a notepad with the names of my characters and important info. Sometimes, I even include drawings. Not always. My stick figures are even lopsided.

Access is another good way to keep track of characters. You can plug in the information once and pull it up fast. I found it to be confusing at times though.

The last way I heard of was Scrivener. Never used it yet though but everyone says it is pretty good. I think I will probably stick with my old method though.

Regardless, it is important to keep track of your characters. Otherwise they might run off and do something you don’t approve of. Like marrying the evil villain’s captain of the guard.
